Darbcom ("Darbcom", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who interacts with our platform, including:

• Drivers: independent truck drivers who register, upload verification documents, browse shipments, place bids, and carry out deliveries through the Darbcom app.
• Companies: logistics companies and shippers who post shipments, review driver bids, and track deliveries through the Darbcom company portal.

1.1 Legal Compliance

Darbcom operates in Saudi Arabia and processes personal data in accordance with the Kingdom's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), issued by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA). This law governs:

• Lawful, fair, and transparent collection and use of personal data.
• Purpose limitation: data is used only for the purposes it was collected for.
• Data minimization: we collect only what a driver or company account actually needs.
• Accuracy, and your right to have inaccurate data corrected.
• Storage limitation: data isn't kept longer than necessary.
• Security safeguards against unauthorized access or disclosure.

1.2 Consent and Acknowledgment

By using our Services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal and financial data as described in this Policy, and to our compliance with legal obligations related to fraud prevention, law enforcement requests, and regulatory reporting. 2. Who This Policy Applies To

This Policy applies to everyone using the Darbcom platform:

• Drivers browsing available loads, bidding on shipments, and completing deliveries.
• Companies posting shipments, reviewing bids, and tracking trips through the company portal.
• Business partners and service providers who help us operate the platform, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, and push notification delivery.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide directly

• Identity information: full name, mobile number, email address.
• Driver verification documents: National ID/Iqama, driving license, vehicle registration (Istimara), operation card, and any other document required to verify your account.
• Company information: legal company name, commercial registration or operation card number, and contact details.
• Vehicle information: truck type, license plate, and related registration details.
• Payment and payout details: bank account information used for wallet withdrawals.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location data: while a trip is active, we track GPS location so the shipment can be followed, and, if you opt in to on-duty tracking, a general location between trips so nearby loads and fleet tracking work. Tracking stops as soon as the trip or on-duty period ends.
• Device and app data: device model, operating system, app version, and crash or error logs, used to keep the app working reliably.
• Usage data: how you interact with the app, used to help us improve it.

3.3 Information From Third Parties

• Payment processors, for verifying and processing payouts.
• Government or verification services, where used to confirm the authenticity of identity and vehicle documents.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify driver and company accounts.
• Match drivers with shipments and process bids.
• Track active trips and share live location with the company whose shipment is being carried.
• Process payments and wallet withdrawals.
• Send service notifications, such as a bid being accepted, payment becoming available, or a document nearing expiry.
• Detect and prevent fraud, and maintain the security of the platform.
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

5. How We Share Your Information

Darbcom does not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only where necessary:

• With the company or driver on the other side of a shipment: for example, a company can see a driver's live trip location and delivery confirmation, and a driver can see a company's shipment and contact details for an accepted trip.
• With service providers who help us operate the platform, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, and push notification delivery, all bound by confidentiality obligations.
• For legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Darbcom, our users, or the public.
• With your consent: for any other purpose, we'll ask first.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to any legal or financial record-keeping obligations we must still meet.
• Manage location permissions directly from your device settings. Note that disabling location during an active trip will limit tracking-dependent features.
• Opt out of non-essential notifications, while still receiving essential service notifications such as bid outcomes and payment updates.

7. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our Services, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

We protect your data with encrypted storage, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) between the app and our servers, and access controls limiting who on our team can view sensitive information such as verification documents.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
